Thrust Vector Control
Thrust Vector Control, or TVC, involves moving the motor on its X and Y axis to vector the thrust and pivot the rocket around its centre of gravity. A custom designed TVC mount is designed to move the motor and stabilise the rocket. This mount allows the rocket to be actively stabilised and is a key component to allowing the rocket to vertically land in the distant future.

LATEST DEVELOPMENT
CubeSat PoC
Throughout 2021, Edward took a break from development of Project Summit. For a major high school project, a CubeSat was developed. This prototype satellite is known as the CubeSat Proof of Concept, or CubeSat PoC for short. Right from the early design stages, it was designed with the intention of learning as much as possible about CubeSat technology, while sticking within a strict timeframe and budget.
Although the satellite still does not function as intended (due to time constraints and the global chip shortage), a very large amount was learnt. Making the project an overall success.
