ABOUT Me
Hey there! I'm Eddy Robinson, I am a first year university student from South Australia, working part time in industrial automation. After seeing a SpaceX Falcon 9 booster land for the first time, I instantly grew an obsession with rockets. YouTube combined my new found obsession with rockets and my growing obsession with electronics, and threw a BPS.Space video into my recommended one day.
I saw what Joe Barnard had been attempting to do with his advanced model rockets, and I knew I had to try it. I started development in October 2019, optimistically thinking that it would take about 3 months to launch a TVC rocket successfully. Yet here I am still trying to this day.
The original goal of Project Summit was to land a model rocket like SpaceX, however the goal has since been shifted towards making every system as overkill as possible in an attempt to maximise my learning. People always ask why my work is so overkill, my answer is simply 'why not?' It’s fun, I learn a lot and the final product is truly something to be proud of.
